The online nursing journal "Men in Nursing" helps male nurses overcome the all too common gender stereotypes that exist in the nursing field. Along with men's health issues and career advice, this publication is written by men, for men. Most articles require a subscription, but the journal does offer some free articles available in PDF format for easy reading.
There is a lack of publications catering to the male demographic in the nursing field. It is unfortunate that such a severe gender stereotype still exists in that nurses are always female, and doctors are primarily male.
